Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements our Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses Postential. Violations may result in the enforcement actions described below.
Prohibited activities
You must not use Postential to:
- Engage in any illegal activity or violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Commit fraud, deception, or scams, including deceptive advertising.
- Impersonate any person, business, or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Harass, threaten, defame, or stalk any person.
- Post or generate hate-based content, incitement to violence, or content that targets protected groups.
- Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or connected systems.
- Attempt security attacks, denial-of-service attacks, or probing of vulnerabilities without our written authorization.
- Infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right.
- Violate the privacy or publicity rights of others.
- Upload or process content about people (including client photos, testimonials, or personal information) without the legal authority and consents required by applicable law.
- Abuse social media integrations, including using them to send spam, coordinated inauthentic behavior, or engagement manipulation.
- Send unsolicited marketing, chain messages, or otherwise engage in spam.
- Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to abuse the Service or to bypass rate limits or usage restrictions.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service, except to the extent this cannot be prohibited by applicable law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or the servers or networks connected to it.
- Use Postential in any other way that is unlawful, abusive, or that violates the rights of others.
Enforcement
Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, enforcement actions may include:
- A warning
- Removal of the offending content
- Feature restrictions
- Temporary suspension of your account
- Permanent termination of your account
- Referral to law enforcement or other authorities where required or appropriate
We may take enforcement action with or without notice, at our reasonable discretion.
